Connecting with You

If you are thinking mission, talking mission, praying about mission, concerned for the nations, passionate for God’s glory among unreached peoples,  we are available to serve you during this coronavirus season. We can call, Skype, Zoom and WhatsApp as often as you want to. We can meet face-to-face if/when government directives and credible health authorities permit. We can email as much as it is helpful. In fact, we can be as creative about exploring mission as our collective imaginations allow. So if you have ideas on how we can meet your mobilisation or missionary care needs, we are all ears!

People are still in contact with us about taking steps toward serving the nations. Now is an ideal time to prepare well. If you sense mission among unreached peoples is on your radar, we can assure you this is likely the Spirit’s prompting for you to proactively pursue next steps. Let’s chat! And may we encourage you to stir others to engage in mission preparation these days too? Together, let’s call on the Lord to do exceedingly great things.

Good Practice & Persistent Prayer

The current concerns and implications regarding COVID-19 are being felt right across the world. We trust God during this perplexing season because he is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. He is faithful and He is in ultimate control.

We are pleased to report our members around the world are handling the inordinate spread of the virus and the numerous uncertainties associated with its influence with faith-filled sensibility. We are prayerful and prudent; reading the Bible and washing our hands; pointing people toward good news and wearing our face masks.

In this time of unmitigated change, what stays the same?

  • The necessity and efficacy of the cross – Jesus Christ died once and for all (John 12:32)

  • The building of the church – what Jesus sets out to do he will do (Matthew 16:18)

  • The promise of the Lord Jesus to be with us to the end of the age as we make disciples – Jesus is with us (Matthew 28:18-20)

  • The guarantee of what the end of the age looks like – it’s glorious! (Revelation 7:9-12)

We are Praying!

We pray this global situation will present remarkable opportunities for each of us to be salt and light in a world engulfed by fear and uncertainty. And especially for people serving some of the least-reached peoples of the world. Current practical needs of people everywhere are pressing… and the long-term goal of addressing ultimate and eternal needs remains paramount. Our mission remains our focus until Christ returns or calls us home.

God knows and cares.

The Pioneers Team

‘Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?
And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.
But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.’
(Matthew 10:29–31)
